Broadway Cabaret - Bob Gunn & Shauna McFadden (SOLD OUT)

This is the first time this incredibly talented duo has come together to put on a show. It promises to be unforgettable. Bob Gunn is well known throughout Orange County in the music community. Among many other things, he was the director of the vibrant Men Alive chorus for many seasons. He directs the Lagunatunes community chorus here in Laguna Beach, which everyone knows is not just a community chorus, but a social force all on its own. And he is the Director of Music at St. Mary’s. Shauna spent her career as a rocket scientist at Boeing, yet always giving equal time to musical endeavors. She sings and plays almost every brass and wind instrument – including the bag pipes!  For this evnt, however, she'll be playing guitar.  Bob’s and Shauna’s paths crossed at St. Mary’s and they have been plotting this Cabaret for some time now. They promise some surprises and lots of fun!!

This unique concert series event is hosted by the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Laguna Beach. The concert series had its start in 2020 during the COVID pandemic to provide a safe venue for people to come together and socialize. St. Mary’s fabulous ocean view terrace was the perfect spot, and the popularity of the event continues to grow. The ECW raises money annually to support worthy causes and organizations in our community and the world. This year, the need is greater than ever, and likewise the challenges in raising money are greater than ever. All the proceeds of the concert events go to support the fundaising efforts of the ECW in meeting our Outreach goals for 2023. We thank you for your support!
