Chili Cook Off

The great Chili Cook Off is on Sunday, November 19 following the 10:30 am service in the Guild Hall.  Attendees will be able to sample and vote for their favorite chili.  All will partake in an all-you-can-eat chili and salad lunch --  or until it is gone.  Admission is $10 for adults, and kids eat free!  Beverages - soft drinks, wine and beer - $5.  

Prizes are offered for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  $10 entrance fee for contestants, includes lunch. Contestants must register separately.   Please contact event coodinator Pat August at ppaugust@aol.com in advance  to advise that your hat is in the ring, and  so there will be room for you on the chef's table.  Bring your chili to the Guildhall by 10 am to set up and fill tasting cups.  Make enough for about 40 tasting cups plus more for serving bowls to hungry people. A crock pot is recommended to keep it warm.   No one turned away.  The more competitors, the more chili for all!

This event is the final event for ECW's fundraising season for 2023.  Proceeds go to support worthy charities in our community and abroad.
